jBilling 3 screenshots

We are only a month or two away from the release of jBilling 3. It is time to share some screenshots with you. You can click on any screenshot to see it in full resolution

The first thing one uses from an application is the login page, so here it is. Right away you get the new visual theme of jBilling 3: the blue colors, the polished gradients and overall professional look that the headers, fonts, buttons, etc give to the application.

This is perhaps the main page to study. The visual theme is more present here: the sharp looking list, variety of icons (see the recent items list, you don’t need to read to know that an entry is a customer) and other visual goodies. This is not just eye candy, it really helps to more easily identify what is important and what is not of all the information on the screen.

In this screen you see the main layout: it has two panes, where the left one is a list, and the right one the main data from the option selected. A lot of effort went also on the navigational aids to help the user save time . There are filters to restrict what it is listed. These filters can be saved and loaded. Then breadcrumbs, recent items and shortcuts are all key to avoid frustration... it should not happen again that you spend minutes finding again an invoice that you were looking at just now.

This is an example of a form. We take advantage of both wider screens and Javascript to make data entry as easy as possible. Here you see a customer record, with collapsible sections for the payment method.

Here it is an example of the new layout helping with configuration. You know how hard is to deal with plug-in in jBilling 2. Now you will be able to click on a plug-in category to find out which plug-ins you are using of that category. In the example, I found out very fast with payment processing plug-in I was using.

A lot of the configuration is greatly simplified. Plug-ins, for example, now know about the parameters that they take. Which ones are required and which ones are optional. And you can add notes to a plug-in too!
