For those companies looking for a commercial offering, jBilling 3 has also been released in two editions. The community edition, which is free and can be downloaded publicly. And the Enterprise edition which is available to subscribers to jBilling's subscription which includes support, maintenance, training and additional enterprise features such as plans, discounts, pricing models and a web services API for integration.

Both editions include the source code, the community edition has its source publicly available for download, while the enterprise edition has its source code available to jBilling's subscribers.
