Eclipse is a great platform for Java development. It has support for a number of APIs and tools we use for jbilling: struts, ant, JBoss, etc...
The current 'build how-to' guide is based on only ant, without any mention of eclipse. The idea is to have another guide that is based on eclipse and answers te following question: how do I setup my eclipse environment to work with jbilling?
The basic goal is to be able to user eclipse as a Java editor that also helps you navigate through code and find compiling errors. This is not too hard (see this thread: http://www.jbilling.com/?q=node/77 ).
Additionally, it'd be great to extend the guide with:
- Usage of JBoss IDE, so there's no need to have JBoss running in a different window, and to enable debugging.
- Struts editors for struts-config.xml, tiles, etc
Feel free to use screenshots in the guide. The guide will be posted in jbilling's website so it has to be in HTML format. If you are wondering how to easily write a guide without dealing with HTML, use OpenOffice.
