Hi there,
I have followed the instructions to install the BRMS as found on http://www.jbilling.com/?q=node/381 and have had no success getting into drools.
Jbilling is working ok and there are no errors when i launch via run.bat.
I have used the base install 1.1.0 from the website with no changes, copied the drools-jbrms.war file into the server\default\deploy directory as described but when I try to access drools I get the following message
HTTP Status 404 - /drools-jbrms/
type Status report
message /drools-jbrms/
description The requested resource (/drools-jbrms/) is not available.
Apache Tomcat/5.0.28
I have made the assumption that I am already using JBoss Web Server as in the second paragraph of the installation instructions. Is this assumption correct? Or am I running Tomcat and need additional instructions. Are those instructions available.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you are able to send me a link to a package which already includes drools installed that would be great.
Thanks
Holly Marshall
Go with JBoss-4.x.x and it will work.
Go with JBoss-4.x.x and it will work.
I used JBoss-4.2.3.GA and its working very fine.
The only problem that I am facing right now is, the xml import is throwing some exception, as it BRMS is unable to detect the root node.
Same problem for me..
I am running separate instance of JBoss. But I am facing the same problem which Holly faced.
Hi Holly, At the time, you
Hi Holly,
At the time, you need to install drools in a separate jboss web. You can not just copy the drools war file into the JBoss that comes with jBilling.
The problem is that drools needs JBoss 4.x, and jBilling is now running on JBoss 3.6. This will change in the future, and we might even just ship jBilling with drools BRMS in the standard distribution.
