A. You can download and use jBilling for free, which takes only a few minutes and will allow you to take a direct look at its building parts.
Open source is developed through a global community of contributors. Unlike proprietary software development, open source is not limited to the individuals hired by a specific company. Volunteers and individuals working for companies using jBilling contribute code, and through an extensive peer review, the best contributions are included in the final product.
This collaborative process provides more innovation and bleeding-edge technology, faster and more securely than through closed source methods.

A. By selling our consulting, training, installation, customization and support services. We are the experts, so we do it best.
Q. Although we are not in the telecommunications industry, we have complex billing requirements. Is jBilling for us?
A. jBilling has been built to handle complex recurring billing scenarios. Telco just happens to come first in the hierarchy of complexity. Therefore pretty much anything else is usually handled fairly easily, although there is always at least some customization and integration involved. A large section of our clientele is not from the Telco industry.
Q. How much would it cost to do what I need?
A. We offer a variety of packages to cater to the various needs of our clients. However, many projects are impossible to predict accurately enough and in that case, we sell bundles of consulting hours.
Q. We don't want a GPL license. Can I have a commercial license?
A. Yes, a commercial license is automatically granted when a company registers for support services.
Q. Do you integrate with my accounting system or my CRM?
A. Yes, jBilling can be integrated with accounting systems and CRM. jBilling has powerful integration capabilites, you can interact with the billing system using web services and other remoting technologies.
Q. Can jBilling run on a specific operation system, or database, or application server?
A. jBilling is developed for the Java Enterprise Edition platform. It will run on practically any operating system (Linux, Solaris, Windows, etc), any database vendor (Oracle, MySQL, etc...) and any application server (Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere, etc...).
